Black Friday is the Friday following Thanksgiving Day in the United States, the fourth Thursday of November.
Since the early 2000s, it has been regarded as the beginning of the Christmas shopping season in the US, and most major retailers open very early (even during overnight hours) and offer promotional sales.
Two years ago, retailers in Spain started to put forward promotions and
specials offers the day after Thanksgiving as a way to promote shopping and
business, so now we also have the possibility to enjoy Black Friday in our
country.

ReplyDeleteI already knew this initiative. In fact, I bought some bargains in different shops two years ago. But, actually I'm not agree with that because If we buy during this days, as for example the Christmas shopping season or Black Friday, I think we are giving support to the consumerism. Moreover, it's a good opportunity to get some bargains but only if you are fast. And, for me, it's stressful because there's too many people.

As usual in Spain we are imitating the United States, and this is another example.

No, I haven't.
I have never enjoyed a promotional sale in Black Friday....
but It's a good idea if you have time and if you want to buy a present before Christmas ...or buy something you need and it costs a lot of money.
Unfortunately the sales starts after the Day of Kings...

I enjoy going to shopping always. I think that stores put for sale everythings outside. Others bargains are better that these. I have been shopping today, and also was there some bargains. Every year is good for going to shopping.
